Social networking for social activism - Persepolis 2.0

Hear about this on Q - CBC Radio 1. Persepolis is the title of the works of Marjan Satrapi - two fantastic graphic novels (Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood and Persepolis 2: The Story of a Return) and film inspired by those novels. It also inspired Persepolis 2.0 (and there's a disclaimer stating that she isn't involved) which is the creation of some authors using Satrapi's works to share the story of what is going on now in Iran with the recent election and notes how tweeter is used to spread the word when newspapers and media are restricted.

Take a look - http://www.spreadpersepolis.com/

"Persepolis 2.0 describes Iran’s post-election uprising and spreads the word about Iranians’ historic struggle against repression. Based on the graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi and edited by two Iranians living abroad."
